GAC Hires Rebekah Knowlton as HR Director

GAC Chemical Corporation, referred to as “Maine’s Chemical Company”, is pleased to announce that Rebekah Knowlton has joined the company as Human Resource Director.

Rebekah is from Deer Isle Maine.  She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta with a B.S. Public Administration degree and a Human Resource Management Certificate.  In addition, she has a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from the Tulane University School of Law.

Most recently, Rebekah was the Deputy County Administrator/HR Director for Hancock County.  Her work experience covering employee benefits and labor relations with collective bargaining units make her a great fit for our growing company.

According to GAC President David Colter:  “I am excited to have Rebekah join GAC Chemical.  Her executive level management experience coupled with her positive approach to workforce engagement are key attributes to our growing employment needs as well as employee retention.”
