GAC Welcomes Eric Madachik as EHS Director

GAC Chemical Corporation, known as “Maine’s Chemical Company”, is pleased to announce it has hired Eric Madachik as Environmental Health and Safety Director.

Eric is originally from Northeast Ohio and a 1992 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in Environmental Policy and Analysis.  He has 30 years of EHS experience in various industries in Ohio and Nebraska that included managing projects and programs to ensure compliance with various OSHA and EPA regulations.  His experience also included overseas work in Kuwait working with the US Military and Contractors on matters including environmental project implementation and management.

According to GAC President David Colter:  “GAC is fortunate to have Eric join GAC Chemical.  His hands on approach to EHS implementation and management coupled with his vast work experience make him an important addition to our management team.”
